On November 2nd, 2007, Meredith Kercher, a pretty British college student studying in Perugia Italy wasn’t answering her cell phone. There’d been a break-in in the house she shared with 3 worried roommates, and when the door was kicked open, they found Kercher’s half-naked corpse partly covered by a duvet lying in a pool of blood. It was the duvet that made Italian police certain her murderer was a woman: no man, they decided, would cast such a pitying eye on his prey.
