While technically not a battle this event shaped Swedish history forever. The longlived hatred for everything danish did certainly exist even earlier but reached new hights and even culminated in the two countries waging wars with the aim to wipe out the very existance of the competitor over the next twohundred years This is hard to belive today since both Sweden and Denmark today regard each other as "brothernations". But that has not always been the case.
