The NFL owners meetings wrapped on Wednesday in Phoenix. A hot topic was the league's imminent return to Los Angeles as all signs point to one team - maybe two - moving to Southern California for the 2016 season. In fact, Giants owner John Mara very much expects it to happen.
The nation's second-largest media market has been without a pro football franchise since the end of the 1994 season, when both the Raiders and Rams moved out. In the past two decades, L.A. has been used by several teams as leverage to get new stadiums built or substantial renovations done to existing facilities. This time, however, somebody might actually pick up and move for real, with the prime suspects being the three teams that once called L.A. home - the Rams, Raiders and Chargers.
