Top 10 Titles Stripped for Rules Violations

We're all aware of this time-honored sports adage: "Rules are made to be broken." No, wait, technically the bromide is "Records are made to be broken." But in an era of unending federal trials, NCAA investigations and international inquiries, the former seems more appropriate than the latter.

 

And now with Super Bowl XLIX around the corner, the biggest story isn't whether the Seahawks will repeat as champions or Tom Brady will get his fourth ring, but PSI: New England. Did the Patriots intentionally break the rules to under-inflate footballs in their playoff victories? "Deflategate" has gotten so ridiculously out of hand that last week every network news program led its broadcast with it.
