Sunday April 29, 12.10am: Adolf Hitler stands in the conference room of
the Fuhrerbunker, dictating his “political testament” to secretary Traudl
Junge.

The bunker, in the heart of Berlin, is protected by a 10ft-thick concrete
roof, and linked by a staircase to an older bunker higher up.
