Bill Cosby spent his first full day Wednesday at his new home for at least the next three years: a maximum-security state prison in Pennsylvania known as SCI Phoenix where he is being kept isolated out of concern for his safety.
Most of the inmates in the 3,830-bed prison are doubled up in cells, but Mr. Cosby, now Inmate NN7687, was given his own, with no timeline yet of when he will join the general population.
