Gotti Ordered Neighbor Dissolved in Acid

Federal prosecutors in a racketeering trial in Brooklyn, New York, say the outraged chief of the Gambino crime family ordered Charles Carneglia, a Mob hitman, to avenge the boy's death in 1980.
According to a 44-page evidence motion, Carneglia shot dead John Favara and told an informant that acid was "the best method to use to avoid detection".
The fate of Mr Favara, a 51-year-old furniture warehouse worker who disappeared five months after the crash, has remained the most prominent unsolved mystery from the bloody career of Gotti, the so-called Dapper Don who died in prison in 2002.
