Comedians and actors alike paid tribute to Bob Saget, the comedian and actor who was found dead over the weekend in Orlando while on tour.
Mr. Saget is often associated with his acting tenure as Danny Tanner, a widower and father to three girls on the TV comedy “Full House.” He was also the longtime host of “America’s Funniest Home Videos.”
The 65-year-old was in Orlando for his “I Don’t Do Negative Comedy Tour” and was found dead in his hotel room Sunday. The Orange County, Fla., Sheriff’s Office said “detectives found no signs of foul play or drug use.”
While Mr. Saget was often known for his acting on “Full House,” the actor was also a respected comedian. Various star comedians paid tribute to the deceased comic, noting his kindness and humor. And people on social media remembered him for having two different personas in his work: father Danny Tanner on “Full House” and raunchy, stand-up comedian.
