'I Was Under the Guns of American Planes'

I recall the war vividly, although I was very young, a small child of barely nine years. One day stands out most in my mind. That was when I first saw and believed that the war would be a danger to all of us. All I knew about war was what I learned from Japanese comics about how they were killing Chinese in Manchuria. But this time, I was under the guns of American planes.
