The Simpsons has been airing since 1989 for over 32 seasons, making it the longest-running American sitcom. Generations have grown up on the show that still knows no stopping. Even though creator Matt Groening has been involved in other projects like Disenchantment and current television is flooded with similar animated family sitcoms, none seem to match the legacy of The Simpsons.
While the show's first nine to ten seasons are widely regarded as its 'golden age'. The later seasons might have declined in terms of critical buzz or awards but the show still continues to entertain old and new fans.
