Medieval Find Traces Irish Whiskey Back 700 Years

A medieval manuscript that contains one of the oldest known whiskey recipes in the world will return to its home in Ireland next month.

The Red Book of Ossory was an important episcopal register belonging to Richard de Ledrede, who served as the Bishop of Ossory in Co Kilkenny between 1316 and 1360.
