Is Biden Emulating Chamberlain’s Phony War?

In the past, this site has discussed Godwin’s Law, which states that if any online discussion continues long enough, someone will almost certainly compare someone else to Hitler. More importantly, according to the Law, the party reduced to making the Hitler analogy is the one who has invariably lost the argument. Spend any time on the web, however, and the ubiquity of Hitler references, particularly in connection with the current election, suggests that the Law is more honored in the breach than in the observance. Nevertheless, I, for one, try strictly to adhere to it.
