African National Congress (ANC) History

African National Congress (ANC) is a South African political party and Black nationalist organization founded in 1912 as the South African Native National Congress. The ANC successfully fought to dismantle the country’s racially discriminatory policy of apartheid and has been the ruling party of South Africa since 1994.
