Missing Bataan Death March Soldier, Finally Accounted For

The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that U.S. Army Air Forces Sgt. James W. Swartz, 21, of Webberville, Michigan, who was captured and died as a prisoner of war during World War II, was accounted for August 2, 2024.
