The Origin of the Marine Corps

Jason Bohm is a retired United States Marine Corps major general who last served as the Inspector General of the Marine Corps, Commanding General of the Marine Corps Recruiting Command, and as the Chief of Staff of the Naval Striking and Support Forces NATO. He is also the author of Washington's Marines: The Origin of the Corps and the American Revolution.
