Unearthed Skull Calls Timeline of Evolution into Question

Decades after a skull was unearthed in China’s Hubei Province, researchers said they suspect a much earlier and more complex human evolutionary split than previously believed. The findings were part of a study published in the journal 'Science' on Sept. 25.
