A history of Chevrolet, which marks its centennial and kicks off a year of anniversary activities at the North American International Auto Show. Chevrolet was founded in Detroit, in Nov. 3, 1911, by racer Louis Chevrolet and General Motors founder William C. "Billy" Durant. The company is now the world's fourth-largest automotive brand.
