On Aug. 28, 1963, at the Lincoln Memorial in Washington, D.C., Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his iconic and electrifying "I Have a Dream" speech that called for racial equality and an end to discrimination.

Three Italian jets from the Frecce Tricolori demonstration team collided and the wreckage fell into the crowd during an air show at Ramstein Air Force Base in West Germany. Including the three pilots, 75 were killed and 346 seriously injured.
